08 Nov Smart Cities/Connected Nashville Could be Key to Data-Driven Metropolois
Nashville is moving towards becoming a ‘smart’ city.
Dr. Fallon S. Wilson is co-chair of Nashville Mayor Megan Barry’s Connected Nashville working group. The group has been involved with researching ways to integrate technology with plans to improve the lives of Nashville residents.
Dr. Wilson asked me to lead the small business discussion to discuss policy recommendations around Nashville’s interest in having a Smart Economy. We explored the recommendations and made our own about how the city could use data and technology to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Other conversations included Smart Mobility, Smart Environment, Smart Governance, Smart People, and Smart Living.
The recommendations and feedback could play a critical role in how the city could use more data and analysis to support residents and enhance their lives. To learn more about Connected Nashville and their projects, access the report here.
