Tomorrow is the big day!

We’re coming to the end of our Run with Purpose campaign.

On Saturday, April 25, I will be participating in the Country Music Marathon in Nashville. I won’t just be running … I’ll be running with purpose. As a member of Team Run with Purpose, I will be raising money to support Purpose Prep, a public charter elementary school that opened last fall.

I hope I can count on your support.

Purpose Prep is a college-preparatory charter school that will educate K-4 children in Nashville. Purpose Prep’s main goal is to set students on the path to college by making sure they have a strong academic and character foundation. In order to set students on a path to college, Purpose Prep will ensure that students are exposed to a rigorous curriculum, have access to high quality instruction, and are nurtured in an environment that focuses on their personal development and sets expectations for their success.

While Purpose Prep receives a per-pupil allotment from state and federal sources, there is a shortfall between these public revenues and the actual cost of a Purpose Prep education.

Those of us on Team Run with Purpose are committed to pledge at least $250 in donations as we gear up to run in the Country Music Marathon. Supporting Team Run with Purpose can make a difference of the schoolchildren who attend, and the greater Nashville community.

Please show your support by making a donation today.
